Lone Wolf - +3 disk installer tapes
===================================

These cassettes write the game's two +3 disks onto blank 3" disks using
a real ZX Spectrum +3's own disk drive. No PC disk-writing hardware is
needed - if you can play a tape into the machine, you can make the disks.

You need
--------
- a ZX Spectrum +3 with a working disk drive
- two blank 3" disks (anything already on them will be erased)
- a way to play the tape: a phone or computer playing the audio into the
+3's EAR socket, a cassette recorder, or a TZXduino-style player

Which file to play
------------------
One tape per game disk, each in two formats with the same content:

lonewolf_p3_install_b.tzx writes disk B } they carry long pauses
                                               after each part so the
                                               STOP THE TAPE prompts are
                                               easy to follow
lonewolf_p3_install_a.tap the same tapes for emulators and
  lonewolf_p3_install_b.tap DivMMC-style players, which pause
                              automatically between blocks

Installing a disk
-----------------
1. Reset the +3 with no disk in the drive, choose "Loader" from the
menu, and PLAY the tape. The installer loads in a few seconds.
2. Follow the on-screen prompts: stop the tape, insert a blank disk,
press a key. The disk contents then load from tape in three parts -
the installer tells you exactly when to PLAY and when to STOP while
it writes and verifies each batch of tracks.
3. After part 3 (about 25 minutes in all) the disk is written, verified
and ready. Repeat with the other tape for the second disk.

Insert disk A and reset the machine: the game boots from the disk.

If a load fails, the installer says so - rewind a little and press PLAY
again; it picks up where it left off. A factory-new unformatted disk is
fine: the installer formats as it writes.
